I set aside my boring, steady program to chase what’s popular and new, thinking I would still get the results I wanted.

I’m so used to running 3-7 miles at the same 7:30-9:30 mile pace, that I chose to use this occasion to challenge myself on the track. Let me tell you, it was humbling 🥵 

Wh No, I don’t work out every single day anymore 🛑 

But I do create a program and backup plans that allow me to take time off when I need it and still slowly work toward my goals. 

Because I stopped chasing the unobtainable.
